Vocational agriculture for rural workerforce

The Centre for Agricultural Science Services has taught over 1,000 rural workers in the Mekong Delta

With the permission of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the Can Tho City,the Center is currently participating in vocational training for rural workers belonged to the National target program according to Decision 1956 / QD-TTG of the Prime Minister.

Since 2009, the Center for Agricultural Science Services has taught more than 1,000 rural workers in the Mekong Delta, contributing a small part to the goal of training human resources as well as improving the efficiency of The agricultural model contributing to build a new platform which is more prosperous and breathtaking.

Nowadays, the Center involved in teaching 06 professions and occupations:

1. Safe vegetable production techniques

Duration: 03 months (160 hours)

Lecturer: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Ba, Dr. Vo Thi Bich Thuy, MSc. Le Thi Ngoc Xuan

2. Citrus cultivation techniques

Duration: 03 months (150 hours)

Lecturer: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Van Hau, PhD. Nguyen Ba Phu

3. Mushroom cultivating techniques

Duration: 03 months (150 hours)

Lecturers: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Vinh Thuc

4. Animal husbandry - Veterinary

Duration: 03 months (150 hours)
